World severely need heroes in real sense

Who is your Ideal Hero? may be a film star like Salman Khan the super star, or Shah Rukh Khan the king of film industry, or Amitabh Bachchan the millenium star; or may be a cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar the master blaster. Your Ideal Hero may be a politician or an entrepreneur. Most of us follow celebrities, sports-persons or politicians.

Have we ever thought of following and bringing in limelight to  real heroes of world, the people who serve humanity without any discrimination of race, religion, color, language or nationality. These people serve humanity and society in different ways, the person may be a social activist like Mother Teressa, Mahatma Phule, Savitri Bai Phule, Shahu Maharaj or Babasaheb Ambedkar; may be a nationalist as Mahatma Gandhi, A philosopher as Socrates, a scientist as Edison,  and may be a philanthropist as Bill Gates, Warren Buffet & Mr Azim Premji.

Azim Premji has donated half of his stake in Wipro, which is equal to Rs.53248 Crore, to a trust which runs 350,000 schools in India. In 2001, he founded Azim Premji Foundation, a non-profitable organisation. In December 2010, he pledged to donate $2 billion for improving school education in India.

Azim Premji advised other entrepreneurs, “I strongly believe that those of us, who are privileged to have wealth, should contribute significantly to try and create a better world for the millions who are far less privileged”

The worst thing is that media and social media is not interested in such news. Our media and our people love to discuss on meaningless fours, sixes and centuries of cricket match and like to show of our fake patriotism during cricket leagues only. TATA, Ambani, Narayan Murthy, Birla & Godrej are hero of Indian media for mutual benefits. The direction of future of a country and a society is very much influenced by media. The society also automatically give importance to the news, people and the things whom media keep giving more importance. Therefore if we want to make our society and country to be rich, developed, advanced and peaceful then no doubt first our media should start focusing on this rather than showing things which increases just TRP.
